Chamomile is part of the official pharmacopeia of 26 countries. It is used, among others, in Germany to treat diaper rash and cradle cap in newborns.
Young chamomile flowers have a taste resembling apples.
USES:
To help relieve inflammation in the digestive tract and issues resulting from digestion such as:
• flatulence
• bloating
• burping
As a relaxant.
To help sleep.
For oral use (mouth wash or gargling):
Helps to relieve inflammation and/or minor irritations of the mucus in the mouth and/or the throat.
Used topically:
Helps to relieve inflammation and/or minor skin irritations such as:
• burns
• cuts
DOSAGE : Adults and adolescent 14 and up: 10 ml per day.
Children 2-14 years old: 5 ml per day.
Can be diluted in a juice or a glass of water.
USING TIPS FROM OUR NATUROPATH : There are several ways to use chamomile: Diluted in a glass of juice or water. In hot water, as an infusion.
Soaked to make a compress or gargled as with a mouthwash: dilute 10 ml in 100 ml of warm water.
MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS : Per 5 ml: Chamomile, fleur (Matricaria chamomilla), 1000 mg
NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS : Purified water.
*Contains no dairy, wheat, gluten, yeast or corn.
PRESERVATION : Contains no preserving agent. To avoid contamination of the product, do not drink directly from the bottle and consume within four weeks after opening. Keep refrigerated after opening.
CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS : Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
CONTRAINDICATIONS : Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family.
